My name is ashley

I research marketing
and teach students

Coming from a background in athletics, collaboration and culture are very important to me when it comes to both research and teaching. I am here to make a positive impact on the marketing discipline and my students.

Research Philosophy

My research investigates how digital technology is impacting the relationships consumers have with themselves, brands, and each other.

Specifically, I employ mixed-methods to investigate how these relationships are changing. I see the strength in both qualitative and quantitative methods. I believe that both methods can provide rich findings that we need to advance as a field when it comes to consumers living in this world overwhelmed by digital technology.

I also love learning from new cultures

Outside my academic identity, I have a strong passion for traveling and experiencing new things because I think that’s the way you open your mind.

I’ve lived in Las Vegas, Orlando, San Antonio, Germany, Tampa, and Lubbock. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel all over the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and even to Australia and New Zealand!
